Privacy policy

At our school, the privacy of our students is handled with care. In connection with the provision of education, the guidance of our pupils and the recording of this in the administration of the school, data about and from pupils are recorded. These data are called personal data. The recording and use of this personal data is limited to information that is strictly necessary for education. The data is stored securely and access to it is limited. Information about pupils is only shared with other organizations if parents give their permission, unless such sharing is required by law.

Since May 25, 2018, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) applies. This means that the same privacy legislation applies throughout the European Union. The Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA) no longer applies.

The current state of affairs regarding the implementation of the AVG at all our schools can be read on the website of Prokind scholengroep (www.prokind-scholengroep.nl) under the heading parents -> privacy - AVG. You can also find the new privacy regulations and the associated privacy statement, approved by our GMR.

Digital learning material

The school makes use of digital learning materials. The suppliers of these learning materials receive a limited amount of student data. In the context of the AVG, strict agreements are made with the suppliers about the use of personal data, so that abuse is prevented.

Photos and videos

For the use of photos and video recordings of pupils on, for example, the school website, written permission will be requested. Parents may always decide not to give such permission or to withdraw previously given consent.For questions about the use of photos and videos, please contact the school management.
